On this Memorial Day 2020 while sharing one of my favorite wedding party images in front of a magnificent American Flag on social media, I suddenly realized I totally missed sharing all the fun I had with Kathryn & Grant on their stunning wedding day!
How could I?!?!?!?! No excuses. It totally fell off the radar. Now, since the 2020 wedding season has essentially been put on pause, now is a perfect time to reminisce. They make me happy.
So let's start out with the fact that I adore Kat & Grant's crew! They are this couple's #1 fan squad! We had so much fun and they were there to help any time we needed it. Secondly, the details and style of Kathryn is perfection. I hope she pulls her wedding dress out and wears it around the house once in a while. I would if I were her!
The day started easy, breezy with gift exchanges, pops of champagne and first looks with Dad and then Grant. Mix in some romantic photos on the Naperville Riverwalk and some American Flag action, prior to the ceremony.
Some adoring looks from Dad prior to the ceremony that was also full of sweet exchanges. Jumpin' on a Tuk-Tuk to head back to the venue for cocktails and party preparations! Let's go! Tear jerking speeches from sisters, brothers and parents, quickly followed by The Andrew Blake Band kickin' off the night. Now this was my second wedding with ABB and let me tell you, worth it! Such a good time! Everybody was out of their seats having a great time!
