To say I am little obsessed with the colors in this wedding is an understatement. The mix of vintage and modern feel to the Danada House, the perfect time of day to shoot (minus the cold) and the "up for anything" attitude of the bridal party... even smoke bombs! I couldn't ask for anything more.
Julia, Brian and I got to know each other this past spring walking through the woods for their engagement session. They are fantastic people and complement each other perfectly, so I was extremely excited for their wedding day.
The bride and groom were getting ready in the His and Hers rooms surrounded by family and friends. Each room had great vintage details and textures that made capturing images of their details easy. Once ready, we snuck outside on the very chilly fall day for a first look and portrait session, taking full advantage of the fall colors and low sun. After popping back inside for a warm up, we pulled the rest of the bridal party out with us while we still had some sun.
The ceremony was sweet and heart felt with Brian's sister officiating and hand written vows from them both. The reception followed with plenty of smiles, speeches that reiterated how perfectly they fit together and DANCE moves. N'Sync was put to shame.
