You can always get a feel of how the day is going to go when you walk into the bridal suite. Jenny's crew was finishing up their hair and makeup while listening to good tunes and sipping on champagne. That about sums up the day. Relaxed, beautiful weather, great people, libations and fantastic music.
I had the pleasure of spending time with these two fabulous people in February for their engagement session in downtown Naperville where we bonded over smoking meats, whiskey and taking cool photos. I was blown away and humbled by all our images displayed at their wedding but the pressure was on to make some more magic.
Warehouse 109 is such a unique venue and offers lots of opportunities for beautiful photos and candid moments. I really tried to capitalize on all the different decor so Jenny & Andrew had a great variety to pick from later. Quiet moments in front of the motorcycles, singing the MacGruber SNL theme song outside, twirling dresses, sweating in the Airstream and perfecting serious but not "mad at me" looks. Pure magic.
Now for the music... Jenny & Andrew had a pianist play during their ceremony. Not just as background music but a custom piece written special for their wedding day that was shared after exchanging vows. Then they had the amazing Andrew Blake Band who had everyone up and dancing the night away! Some many great and not so great dance moves were captured of course! BLACKMAIL :)
