The BRIX Wedding // Angelika & Randy

Angelika & Randy know how to weather a storm. Late summer and fall of 2019 was a soaker. I think I had more rainy weddings than sunny ones last season. Angelika & Randy's was no exception! I think the first time we met it was raining/snowing even!

Rain was NOT stopping these smiles. They both embraced the soggy day and took advantage of any peek of sun or stall in rain that we had. It only bit us in the ass once and we all laughed our way through it. Angelika & Randy stayed fairly dry. Me = drowned rat! hahaha

We started the day at Angelika's sister's home for getting ready and brunch. The house was full of laughs and helpful hands to keep things moving along while the ladies got beautified. Randy was already at the church, anxiously awaiting his bride.

The traditional ceremony followed by a rustic modern reception at The Brix with a few traditional Polish song & dances baked in. Some very special toasts from sisters, brothers, brothers from another mother and parents. Of course there were lots of laughs and a few (good) tears.

When Angelika and Randy opened up the dance floor -- THEY OPENED UP THE DANCE FLOOR! I always love when I am surprised by the dancing abilities of my couples and their family and friends. I am of course in the middle of it and shaking my rump too while grabbing candid shots. Folks let loose and it is awesome to see!
